Disney Treasure takes the Wish Class hardware and gives it a more coherent reason to spend a full week aboard. Seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral provide enough sea time for Plaza de Coco, two Worlds of Marvel experiences, the AquaMouse, adult restaurants and the ship’s distinctive park-inspired lounges without turning every day into a timetable.
Disney Treasure is the strongest current Wish Class all-rounder for travellers willing to fly to Florida. Seven nights suit the ship better than a short break, while Plaza de Coco, Haunted Mansion Parlor and Skipper Society give it more personality than a simple Wish copy. The weakness for UK families is obvious: flights, hotels and gratuities can push the total well beyond the headline cruise fare.

See the ship before booking
Treasure shares Wish Class architecture, but the adventure-led lounges and Plaza de Coco change the routes many guests will use each evening. The walk-through helps show those distances and the relationship between the Grand Hall, dining rooms and upper decks.
Why Treasure is more than Wish with different decoration
The hull and basic circulation are Wish Class, but Treasure leans much harder into adventure and Disney park mythology. The Grand Hall draws on Aladdin, Plaza de Coco replaces Arendelle, Haunted Mansion Parlor and Skipper Society bring theme-park stories into adult social spaces, and the AquaMouse gains Curse of the Golden Egg. These changes matter because the ship is sold on seven-night itineraries, giving repeated use of venues more weight than on a short break.
Seven nights make rotational dining work properly
Treasure’s three main restaurants are Plaza de Coco, Worlds of Marvel and 1923. Plaza de Coco is designed for two distinct nights of entertainment, and Worlds of Marvel also has multiple show experiences. A seven-night itinerary therefore lets repeat visits feel intentional rather than repetitive. 1923 provides the quieter counterweight, while Marceline Market and the Festival of Foods handle everyday meals. The ship is at its best when passengers use the included programme before adding paid restaurants.
Haunted Mansion Parlor is a genuine differentiator
The Haunted Mansion Parlor is not simply a themed bar sign attached to a generic lounge. It extends the attraction’s story with effects and visual detail, while Skipper Society draws on Jungle Cruise and Periscope Pub on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. For adult Disney fans, these spaces make Treasure notably stronger than Wish. They also illustrate why adults who do not care about Disney intellectual property may struggle to justify the same premium.
AquaMouse and the family decks
Treasure carries ten pools plus water-play areas, with AquaMouse as the signature moving attraction. Its exclusive Curse of the Golden Egg story gives the ride a different identity from Wish. Hero Zone, cinemas, deck entertainment and children’s clubs create enough alternatives that one attraction going down does not ruin a sea day. The main practical issue remains crowd timing around breakfast, pool weather and major shows.
Children and teenagers
Oceaneer Club, Edge and Vibe give children defined age-based spaces, while nursery care covers younger children for an extra fee. The strongest family plan is not to schedule every character and club activity. Pick the experiences that are genuinely important, then protect downtime. On a seven-night cruise this is easier than on a three-night sailing, and the ship feels less frantic as a result.
Adults: Treasure is the most convincing of the three current sisters
Quiet Cove, Palo Steakhouse, Enchanté, The Rose and Senses Spa return, but the additional themed lounges deepen the evening choice. Sarabi is family-oriented during the day and adult-exclusive at night. Couples can therefore have a credible adult routine without pretending the wider ship is not family-led. The premium still deserves comparison with Celebrity or Virgin Voyages if character and Disney theming have little value.
Port Canaveral logistics from Britain
Treasure sails seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral. For a British booking, add flights to Florida, at least one sensible pre-cruise hotel night and transport to the port. Combining the cruise with Walt Disney World can make the long-haul journey easier to justify, but it also creates an expensive holiday with several separate spending centres. A standalone seven-night cruise should be compared against an equivalent package from Miami or Fort Lauderdale, not just against Disney’s other ships.
Cabins and verandahs
Family-friendly room design is a strength, and the broad verandah inventory suits Caribbean sea days. The question is whether the balcony earns its premium after the family’s likely schedule is considered. Children in clubs, parents in adult spaces and long port days can reduce cabin time dramatically. Concierge benefits can be attractive on a full week, but the premium may buy an entire extra holiday on another line.
The real cost
Treasure’s seven-night length magnifies both included value and extras. Standard gratuities for four guests are currently $448 over seven nights before paid drinks, internet, Port Adventures, nursery care or premium restaurants. Add Florida travel and the total can become substantial. The ship makes most sense when the family intends to use the included Disney experiences heavily enough to make the premium work.
CruisePing final verdict
Treasure is the current Wish Class sweet spot. It has the mature version of the platform, a full-week itinerary and the most interesting adult lounges. CruisePing would choose it over Wish for a Florida-based seven-night holiday, but would choose Wish over Treasure for a UK family whose 2027 Southampton convenience removes thousands of pounds of long-haul logistics.
